Course Description:

 

A study of modern techniques in the investigation of serious and specific crimes including murder, homicides, rape, robbery, arson, kidnapping, blackmail and serial killing.  Emphasis is given on physical evidence rather than on extra-judicial confessions.  It includes scientific techniques in identifying, collecting and preserving of physical evidence.  Treatment and handling of physical evidence in the laboratory and analysis on the relationship of the special crime investigator and crime laboratory examiner is also pointed out in the course.

 

This course also includes a special study of modern techniques and procedures in the investigation of crimes penalized under special laws
