The course deals with the study on the history of photography particularly crime scene photography and forensic photography. Included in the topic are the criteria in choosing the ideal type of camera, types of lenses, filters and other accessories to be use in recording the crime scene and physical evidences.
Emphasis is given in the application of the different techniques and procedures in photographing crime scene particularly determining proper exposure, depth of field determination, camera position and composition. It also includes the understanding of principles and procedures involved in the development process, production of latent images to visible images.
